1. What if the weather is rough the day of our charter?

On windy days, we can fish in the intercoastal waterway where it is geographically protected from the wind and rough seas. If the weather is too extreme, the captain reserves the right to cancel, therefore a full refund of your money will be given.

2. What if I need to cancel my charter?

It is required that a seven (7) day notice be received in order to sufficiently cancel your charter and get a full refund of your money. If the captain cancels due to weather, mechanical difficulties, sickness, etc., then you will also receive a full refund or reschedule for another day.

3. Can I keep the fish I catch?

Feel free to keep any fish of legal size and limit that is edible. All other fish will be returned as unharmed as possible to the ocean. I will be more than happy to clean and filet the fish you want.

4. Can I mount my fish?

I am a representative of Gray's Taxidermy of Fort Lauderdale, the largest taxidermy in the world. I would be more than happy to get you a mount of your fish, delivered right to your home.

5. Do I need to bring any fishing equipment?

No, I supply all necessary equipment, but feel free to bring any of your own.

6. Do I need a fishing license?

No. I have all necessary licenses for up to 6 people.

7. What do I need to bring on board for my day of fishing?

You will want to bring food and beverages, sun block, a camera, polarized sunglasses, a light jacket Gust in case), and something to bring your catch home in like a freezer Ziploc baggy or cooler.

8. How long are the charters?

A half day is four hours, usually 8 a.m. to 12 noon or 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. A full day is eight hours, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Trip departure times may vary to fit your schedule depending on other charters for the day.

9. Is rain gear necessary?

Ponchos are sold at the marina ship store. It is always a good idea to bring rain gear just in case. As we all know, the weather here in South Florida can be sudden and unexpected.

10. What payment options do you accept?

I take all major credit cards including American Express, Visa, and MasterCard. However, I DO NOT take Discover. Checks are welcome, and of course cash.

11. How do I schedule a fishing charter?

Call me to make sure the day you would like to reserve is available. You must send a deposit via check or credit card in the amount of $100 to ensure that time slot is yours.

12. Is tipping necessary?

Tips are definitely appreciated, but not mandatory. Normal tips are around 15-20% of the trip cost.

13. What level of experience is necessary?

I enjoy anglers from age 5 to 105 any experience level. I specialize in teaching kids and inexperienced anglers. When you are done with your fishing trip, I will send you home with knowledge of many secret fishing tips.
