April 2016 Fishing Report: Palm Beach, Singer Island, Palm Beach Shores

Welcome to the April Coastal Angler fishing forecast for the deep sea fishing off Palm Beach, Juno Beach and Palm Beach Shores Florida. This month will bring some great offshore fishing. The tasty Blackfin Tuna will be visiting our waters ready to bite the hook. Trolling is a great method for these fish, but will only produce smaller ones. If you’re looking for some monsters you’re going to have to catch them off the kite using live bait. The best time of the day is either early morning or late afternoon. Some of the best spots to catch them…. Try off the Breakers Hotel. I like the 150 to 250 depth. Live bait is the key for the big boys.

Also this month there will be a great King bite, the waters off the old stack will be a hot spot for smokers, but the waters off the Juno Pier will produce numbers. Don’t forget if you get into the Kings there will be monster Muttons under the schools. Try firing a bait deep.

For the Inshore Angler, the beach will be holding schools of huge Tarpon. When you get on these fish toss a live Sardine or Threadfin to them. Make sure you have a really good rod with great drag because most of these fish are going to be in the 80 pound plus range. Hold on!!
