April Fishing Report
reelintensefishing.com will use 30' of 40lb to fool the big boys. The bait of choice is a strip of bonito. Remember, they're big because they're cautious . Also, if you're looking for a trophy Wahoo, try catching a live bonito and slow troll it with a stinger hooks. Wahoo love to eat Bonito (At least something likes to eat them). March Fishing Report
Welcome to the Coastal Angler Magazine fishing report for March. The end of winter is coming to an end. We saw some great Sailfish and Wahoo fishing. Expect it to continue this month. Most Sails will eat live bait, but can also be caught on the troll. The key is to watch the tip of the rod and look for the bite. February Fishing Report
Welcome to the Coastal Angler magazine fishing report for February. Winter is upon us and the fish are biting just offshore. Expect Sailfish to be lingering around in depths of 130’- 250’. These fish love Live Bait, but will take a trolling Bait if presented correctly. Flying a Gog. From a kite is my preference and will produce more bites. January Fishing Report
Hello and welcome to the Coastal Angler Magazine January fishing report. This winter will bring some hot fishing in our waters. Sailfish, Dolphin, Wahoo, and Kingfish will be the offshore choice. When heading out, take a drive to the south and let the stream take you north. If you're just looking for Sails, try the 160' depth off the Dodge Wall.
