December 2019 Fishing Report: Palm Beach, Singer Island, Palm Beach Shores

Hello and welcome to the Coastal Angler fishing report for Palm Beach, Singer Island and Jupiter Florida.

Let’s start with the inshore bite. The Palm Beach Inlet will be a hot spot for Jacks, Permit and Sheephead. Light tackle is the key. The Daiwa saltist 5000 will get the job done. Live shrimp on a light pink leader will fool the bigger ones. Start your drift up current and drop it down. Good luck!

The offshore bite will be determined by cold fronts entering our area. The coldest days will produce strong bites from Sailfish and Dolphin. Also, expect a Wahoo in the mix. Live bait is a must and this can be bought from your local bait boat. Call them on VHF 68. It’s best to get their cell number and place the order the evening before (just to make sure you get yours). After the bait meet up… head Eastto the edge and put the Kite out.. or flat lines….Your choice. Don’t forget to have one deep with wire for that Wahoo .

Reef Fisherman, there will be opportunities for Snappers in December . The area off Juno Beach will hold Muttons and Yellowtails inside the edge, with vermillion east of the edge in deeper water. Presentation is everything when Bottom fishing. Make sure to feed the bait to the fish. A good 4 count before you lock up the reel, that’s what works for us at Reelintensefishing.com Well anglers…. good luck and let’s chat again next month. Tight lines!
