June 2016 Fishing Report: Palm Beach, Singer Island, Palm Beach Shores

Welcome to the June Coastal Angler Magazine sport fishing forecast for Palm Beach, Singer Island and Juno Beach Fl. Expect great fishing for the month of June.. Why you ask? Well, the live bait will be heading south and big fish eat little fish.. What big fish will be in the area in June you ask?? Expect Kings, Blackfin, Snapper, Sharks and a mass migration of Bonito.. Yes, the dreaded Bonito.. Super fighter, but not good to eating. Also on the list will be Wahoo and Dolphin swimming in the deep. The best time to head out for these fish.. Early morning or late evenings.. I like the evenings because most fishermen are at home telling fish stories..

For the inshore guys, the Snook fishing will pick up this month with the summer spawning. The beaches and inlets will be a good spot to start. If you’re looking for Tarpon, head north out of the Palm Beach inlet and run the beach. Look for tailing fish.. Best bait? Live sardine. Good luck!

Something else I want to talk about is the June Swordfishing . Day time is the ticket, but night time can produce some good bites. When heading out to the deep, please beware of the weather. This is the time of the year when it gets unpredictable. Be safe and tight lines!
