June fishing report
Welcome to the June fishing report for Palm Beach, Singer Island and Jupiter Florida. Fishing will be awesome this month with many different opportunities to land good fish. You will start to see more Bonita invading us on there migration trek. They are great for action but most fishermen try to stay away from them due to there poor table fare. Us at Reel Intense fishing Charters see it as a gift. We understand that when the Bonita are around... there’s monsters that are feeding on them. One option is to catch a bonehead and live rig him on a 50lb class reel and slow troll them behind the boat. If you ever wanted to land a Wahoo over 50lb or maybe a Blue Marlin, this is you time. Step it up and troll 2 live bones rigged through the eyes with a strong hook. Don’t forget the wire leader. Game on!!
For the Bottom fisherman, the snapper fishing will be heating up..Yellow tails, Mutton snapper and Mangroves will be available on the reef. Long and light leader will do the trick. The best Bait would be live sardine with his tail cut off. Make sure we check the FWC regulations for snapper because they are ever changing.
For the deep water guy SwordFishing will be on the docket. South Florida is one of the best places to catch a mighty Broad Bill. These fish get up to 500 pounds and will give you the fight of a lifetime, also they taste great! Swordfishing is not hard.. you can check out our YouTube video @reelintensefishing. There's plenty of information. It will get you going on the fast track. There's a few things you need to know. Before you head out. definitely check the weather. You don't wanna be out 20 miles when there's a huge thunderstorm building over the beaches. Another thing is don't forget your HMS permit. Well, that's it for this month. Good luck in tight lines!
