September 2016 Fishing Report: Palm Beach, Singer Island, Palm Beach Shores

Welcome to the Palm Beach Shores, Singer Island and Palm Beach deep sea fishing charter September Fishing Forecast.. Prepare yourselves for some Dolphin fishing action!.. offshore will be the place to catch them. Weed-lines will be stacking up in the Gulf-stream and you will need to travel 5 to 10 miles offshore Palm Beach Inlet to get on the fish. The Run and gun tactic is the trick. When heading East of Singer Island, don’t stop at the first weed line you come across, try the next one. Look for life under the lines before starting your troll. Keep a couple of spinner rods handy for the stragglers. Don’t expect large fish, but lots of flippers ( dollies that you can flip over the side) and remember that the law is 10 fish per person, 20″ to the Fork of tail. Also, put a bait out with a wire leader just in case a Wahoo or two shows up in your spread.

For the inshore guys there will still be a few Tarpon rolling on the beach. Look for tailing fish in the shallows. You can’t miss them, they’re Silver and jumbo sized.. Best bait? Live sardine. Where to get them this time of year?? VHF 68.

For the reef guys, the snapper bite will still be good. This time of year it’s a mix bag. If the bite is slow, adjust your depth. Don’t be afraid to go super shallow to find fish.. Good luck and tight lines!
